The Book: Rather than looking to the past, the author proposes that new Catholic churches ought to be places of beauty that honor and respect the stories, struggles and achievements of the community. He helps the reader to see the signs of the time, apply them to the business of designing, constructing and furnishing church buildings for the future and begin the proper dialogue necessary to build and renovate church in every sense of the word.
The Author: Richard S. Vosko, Ph.D., a priest of the Diocese of Albany, is a designer and consultant for worship environments. He is a frequent lecturer and is currently working with Catholic and Protestant communities throughout the United States and Canada.
