The Artist

RONALD NEILL DIXON, NDD

Born in Ireland on a Good Friday, designer Ronald Neill Dixon
brings an extensive and diverse set of credentials and experience
to his work in the liturgical arts.
The son of a church organist, he was well grounded in the faith
before receiving his formal training in his craft at the college level.

With his strong foundation in religion,
a major in stained glass a
nd a minor in silversmithing,
he was sought out by an American liturgical arts studio
which sponsored his move to this country.

Working on staff and freelance with various studios,
Mr. Dixon received hundreds of commissions from churches and temples
of diverse denominations throughout the United States,
designing each project individually to produce a work of art
ref
lective of the faith and lives of each religious community.
In the early 1990's, he began to design ecclesiastical art and interiors
under his own name through the Dixon Studio of Virginia.
